To apply for financial aid a student submits the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The paper FAFSA will be available at your high school in late November. Students are encouraged to submit the FAFSA on-line at:

www.fafsa.ed.gov

The Campbellsville University School code is 001959. Be sure the information you provide is correct and complete.

The following financial aid web sites may be useful:

www.fastweb.com
www.collegeboard.com
www.finaid.org
www.wiredscholar.com
www.scholarships.com

At the above sites you can estimate your Expected Family Contribution (EFC), this is how much the parents and student will be expected to contribute towards the student's education. Cost of Attendance (tuition, fees, room and board, books, etc.) minus the Expected Family Contribution (determined by the FAFSA) and other scholarship assistance equals a student's eligibility for financial aid.

You can also do a free scholarship search at the above web sites.

Loans are available to students (maximum $2,625 the first year increasing to $3,500 and then $5,500 each of the last two year) and to parents. Students must apply for financial aid to receive a loan. Parents may borrow up to the cost of the student's education.
