SIOUX CITY, Iowa. - The National Association of Intercollegiate
Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2008 Daktronics-NAIA Wrestling
All-America Scholar-Athletes. Campbellsville University tops the
list with 5 Academic All-Americans. Seniors Kyle Norred, Kaci Payne
and Josh Deadrick made the list for the second time, while Senior
Chris Branam and Junior Jairus Murton gets the award for the first
time.
Kyle Norred is a Senior Education Major that plans to attend graduate
school at Auburn University. Kaci Payne is a Psychology/Sociology
double major and is considering graduate school. Josh Deadrick
is a Business major. Chris Branam is an English Major that will
enter the teaching/coaching field. Jairus Murton is a Sports Ministry/Criminal
Justice Major.
