Cumberland U. pins 24-16 loss on the mat Tigers

Cumberland University's wrestlers weren't in the holiday (better to give than receive) spirit on Wednesday as the Bulldogs defeated the Tigers 24-16 in a duel meet in Lebanon, Tenn. Allen Scruggs, in the 197-pound class; Tommy Pretty, in the 133-pound class; and Nick Waldrop, in the 149-pound class, and a forfeit at the 184-pound class; were the only CU victories in the 10-match meet. Scruggs defeated Kyle Studer 6-2, Pretty defeated Matt Scheve 14-0, and Waldrop defeated Andy Scoultz 11-6. Campbellsville is off until Dec. 5th when they travel to to the Ohio Northern Invitational in Ada, Ohio.
